Patong Beach

The island's busiest beach and nightlife, on the west coast. About 32 km (45–60 min) from the airport, 12 km (15–25 min) from Kata & Karon and 18 km (30–45 min) from Rassada Pier.

Kata & Karon

Kamala

A quieter bay between Patong and Surin. About 25 km (35–50 min) from the airport.

Bang Tao (Laguna)

A long beach on the north-west coast with the Laguna resort area. About 20 km (25–40 min) from the airport.

Rawai & Nai Harn

The southern tip of the island, near Promthep Cape. About 48 km (1–1.5 h) from the airport.

Mai Khao

The long beach next to the airport, in the north. About 16 km (20–30 min).

Phuket Town

The island's main town, with the Old Town's shophouses and markets. About 32 km (45–60 min) from the airport.
